Amazing creation

I was awakened by the song of birds in our back yard this morning just as a ray of sunlight peeked through the blinds on the window on my side of the bed. A faint train horn rounded off the beauty of the morning and I smiled, “What a great way to wake up.” Isn’t God wonderful? He created so much for us to enjoy, but not just for our enjoyment.

He created that enjoyment so that we could experience Him. Being created in His image, we have the capacity to experience many things that He “experiences” -- though certainly in a much different way than we experience them.

When I relish in the things that He has created and realize His grace, His gifts, His love in preparing this for me to experience enjoyment, I am relishing Him.

What an amazing creation, yes. But, truly, what an amazing CREATOR!!!
